The hit TV show Yellowstone doesn’t just hire actors — it also hires real-life ranch pros, including the number one bareback rider in the world, Tilden Hooper.
Rodeo fans were delighted to see Hooper onscreen in episode ten, season three of the series.

While Hooper is still learning his way around the acting world, he’s been a standout at national rodeo events for years. After establishing himself as a bareback rider in high school, he’s perfected his craft and is currently ranked number one worldwide.

Hooper found out he was being cast in the show and traveled to Montana to begin filming. The Texas native said that he loved the chance to be in front of the camera.
Of his time on set, Hooper said, “Yes, it was a cool experience. I’d love to do it again. The scene I was in, we shot it 30 times before it was just right. It’s neat to see all of the moving parts and how everything works.”

Tilden doesn’t have any other acting gigs in the works right now — he’s focused on showing off his skills — he’s hoping to snag a World Championship title.
