It’s no secret that this Christmas season, Blake Shelton and girlfriend, Gwen Stefani are finding themselves under the mistletoe. The cozy couple released the new video for their collaboration “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” right before Thanksgiving. The video shows Shelton and Stefani in a series of different settings celebrating the spirit of Christmas time. As they drive through a snowy valley and perform on stage, this couple can’t get enough of looking at one another.
While it might not be any surprise how this sweet duo feels about each other, their collab had fans wondering if Shelton helped write the jolly tune. In an ET exclusive interview, the country singer gives his blonde bombshell of a girlfriend all the credit.
“I sent Gwen a couple of lines of the song. She took it and made the song what it is. I just sent her an idea.” Humble as ever, the singer continues, “She tries to say that I co-wrote it, but I just sang on it.”

When later grilled about the love lyrics behind the song, Shelton admits it is about the couple’s relationship. One line, in particular, had fans running wild with wonder, “I never thought I’d find a love like this, but I found forever in that very first kiss.” Shelton blushed a bit before smiling, with an obvious hint of how he feels about their future.
Finally, when asked how gorgeous Gwen looked in her dolled up Christmas attire for the video, Shelton found himself in awe all over again.
“How gorgeous does she look all the time? It’s unbelievable,” Shelton responded. “Right now, wherever she is, she looks gorgeous, whatever she’s doing.”
