During a 2013 concert at the Dixie Roadhouse in Cape Coral, Blake Shelton stood on stage in the small and intimate venue channeling the 70s in one of the best Billy Joel covers we’ve heard in a long time!
Picking up the mic as the music fades into the speakers, you can hear lots of the audience hoot and holler before he even begins! Shelton’s been known to cover various songs at his concerts, but this one takes the cake.
Giving the best down home country-fried version of Joel’s 1978 chart-topper, “My Life”, Shelton dazzles (and shocks) the crowded bar with some great vocals and a clear drawl!
