Nobody can compare to the incredible voice of Miranda Lambert, but Team Blake’s iconic winner and country music superstar, Cassadee Pope surely gave one of the best tributes you will ever see!

During the third season of NBC’s hit singing competition, The Voice, Blake Shelton took home the trophy with his future superstar contestant, and when she took the stage to perform the track he helped draft, it was clear he was taken by surprise.

“Over You” was originally released as part of Lambert’s 2012 album, Four The Record and became one of her biggest hits, charting all the way to the No. 1 spot and selling thousands of copies worldwide. Penned by both Lambert and Shelton, the tune is an emotional statement reflecting the devastating loss Shelton experienced when his older brother passed away in a tragic car accident.

Pope poured her heart and soul into this performance in such a way that left much of the crowd sobbing after she dedicated the performance to her late grandfather. Never before had The Voice experienced such an overwhelmingly emotional performance by an artist, and her rendition of Blake’s treasured song was truly breathtaking.
