When it comes to parenting, Fixer Upper star Chip Gaines sure has a lot of experience. He’s a father of five children alongside his wife Joanna, with their newest addition being born on June 21. The proud dad made the birth announcement on Twitter just a couple days after their son, Crew, was born.
And then there were 5.. The Gaines crew is now 1 stronger! 10 beautiful toes and 10 beautiful fingers all accounted for, and big momma is doing great! #blessedBeyondBelief

In his newest social media post, Chip showed he might be a little out of practice of parenting a newborn, since the last time the Gaines household had one was eight years ago! The photo consisted of Crew’s car seat sitting on top of their stainless steel counter next to the stove, and a fresh batch of Joanna’s famous cornbread.
“If you’ve read my book #capitalGaines you know I’m NO child safety specialist, but even I know this can’t be a good place for a car seat,” he captioned the photo.
Chip is known for his comical stunts on his hit HGTV show, but this one takes the cake – or in this case, cornbread! Check out the photo below.
