On April 19, Carrie Underwood teased something that would announced on April 21st. The short clip showed her holding a butterfly in her hands and her caption read, “I’m all aflutter with something exciting coming April 21!”
When April 21st rolled around, she updated fans by saying, “Looks like we have to keep fluttering a little longer… more to come…”

Several Internet sleuths realized Celine Dion put out a clip with similar music and almost identical verbiage.
“A little teaser for a fabulous reveal on April 21. Stay tuned!” she wrote, and when her announcement was also pushed back to April 22.

Many thought the simultaneous announcements meant Las Vegas residencies…and they were right! Brand-new resort/casino Resorts World, which opens on June 24th, released a teaser video on April 22 that included some big names in music including Underwood, Dion, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and DJs Zedd and Tiesto.
In March, news broke that Perry would have her very first Vegas residency at the 5,000-seat theater at Resorts World, but it was only speculation about all the other artists – until now!
An official press release says, “The commercial offers a sneak peek of the astounding entertainment to come as a result of the unprecedented partnerships between Resorts World Las Vegas, Concerts West / AEG Presents and Zouk Group.”
The Resorts World video, which features all of the artists listed above, shows Perry as a mermaid, Bryan fishing, Underwood on an island of butterflies, Tiesto DJing, Zed playing pinball, and Dion in the pinball machine.
