Doctors Put Chris Stapleton On Vocal Rest After Illness, Forcing Him To Postpone Two Concerts
Country music megastar Chris Stapleton suddenly postponed two upcoming shows, citing illness as the reason.
The “Bad As I Used To Be” singer was slated to bring his All-American Road Show Tour to Hollywood, Florida, on October 10 and 11. Unfortunately, the day before his first show in the city, Stapleton announced he’d have to postpone both performances.
In a post he shared to social media on October 9, Stapleton wrote:
“To all my friends in Hollywood, FL, I am very sorry to let you all know I am battling bronchitis and am unable to perform this weekend’s shows as my doctors have put me on vocal rest.”
Stapleton was able to reschedule the postponed shows; however, he wasn’t able to squeeze them in this year. Instead, the shows have been rescheduled for January 10 and 11, 2026.
Tickets for the October 10 show will be honored on January 11. Tickets for the October 11 show will be honored on January 10.
Those unable to attend the rescheduled concerts can obtain a refund by contacting their point of purchase before November 10.

Stapleton Had To Delay The Start Of His Tour Earlier This Year
Stapleton was supposed to start this year’s run of All-American Road Show tour dates on June 4 in Greenville, South Carolina. However, he was forced to delay the tour by two days after some of their equipment was damaged in transit.
“Critical pieces of our tour production were damaged beyond repair while en route to Greenville. Unfortunately, without that equipment, we are unable to put on the show,” he said.
The June 4 show in Greenville was rescheduled for July 9. Stapleton’s 2025 tour finally started on June 6 in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Stapleton has since traveled across the country, stopping in cities such as Grand Rapids, Albany, Salt Lake City, and Denver.
His Hollywood, Florida, shows were his last scheduled tour dates for 2025. He’ll play one more show this year, as he’s one of the headliners for the Boots on the Bayou festival on November 1.
Stapleton already had plans to continue the All-American Road Show Tour into 2026. The newly rescheduled Hollywood, Florida shows will be his first concerts in the New Year.
