Country rock singer Brantley Gilbert and his beautiful wife, Amber Cochran Gilbert, celebrated nine years of marriage on Friday (June 28).
This adorable couple are actually high school sweethearts!
Brantley and Amber knew each other from their hometown in Georgia and dated in high school. After an on-again-off-again relationship, they rekindled their romance and eventually got engaged in 2014, tying the knot in June 2015.
Their relationship faced challenges, including Brantley’s battle with addiction, which caused a temporary separation. However, after getting sober, he reunited with Amber, and they have been together ever since. Soon after they married, Brantley and Amber started trying for kids immediately.
The couple share two children: a son named Barrett Hardy-Clay, born in November 2017, and a daughter named Braylen Hendrix, born in September 2019.
Brantley has openly discussed how his expanding family has influenced his music. His song “Man That Hung The Moon” was inspired by the excitement of expecting their first child, Barrett.

Good news for the happy couple! — They announced just last month that they are expecting their third child!
On Mother’s Day this year (May 12, 2024), Brantley posted a few adorable photos of the couple and their ultrasound. In the third photo, Brantley and Amber are holding Barrett and Braylen’s hands on the beach, with the sweet photo of their growing baby in the forefront.
The caption on the post simply read:
