Michigan Sheriff’s Deputy Bradley J. Reckling Was Killed In The Line Of Duty
During his recent concert, Luke Bryan took a moment to honor and remember a fallen Michigan sheriff’s deputy.
According to The Associated Press, Bradley J. Reckling was on duty on the evening of Saturday, June 22. A 2022 Chevy Equinox had been reported stolen from the Red Oaks Waterpark in suburban Madison Heights earlier in the day.
Reckling and other detectives searched for the suspected stolen vehicle before locating it in Detroit. Reckling was following the vehicle when it stopped, then people exited and started shooting.
Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard says Reckling was killed after being shot in the head, chest, and torso. Officers later apprehended three individuals in connection to the shooting.
