Lisa Marie Presley has died at the age of 54.

Lisa Marie’s mother confirmed the news in a statement saying:

“It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known,” Priscilla Presley wrote. “We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. At this time there will be no further comment.”

Lisa Marie, the only daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, was rushed to the hospital Thursday (January 12) after being found unresponsive by her housekeeper.

TMZ was the first to report that paramedics responded to Presley’s Calabasas, California, home and performed CPR after she went into “full cardiac arrest.” Presley was transported to a local hospital after showing “signs of life” following CPR.

She died at the hospital shortly after.

Lisa Marie Presley was born on February 1, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was 4-years-old when her parents divorced, and nine when her famous father died.
