Country music star Carly Pearce is set to unveil a new album featuring her most intimate music yet.

Carly Pearce, 33, revealed in an Instagram post on Friday (March 1) that her upcoming album, Hummingbird, is scheduled for release on June 14th.

“The last few years have been a season of loss and growth, of healing and happiness. A belief that if I did the inner work, I would rebuild myself stronger than I was before, and a knowing that I have done some living and will always be unapologetic about it.”

Additionally, the singer conveyed her belief that the 14 tracks on Hummingbird, scheduled for release via Big Machine Records, “incapsulate my confidence that there is light on the other side of darkness and my true love of country music.”

Pearce continued:

“When you hear this album — Wherever you are on your journey, I hope it shows you that pain can be a lesson that shows you just how strong you are and what you truly deserve. That we can all find the ‘hummingbird’ in the midst of whatever we’re going through.”

This upcoming album marks her fourth studio release and her first since 2021’s 29: Written in Stone.

Pearce co-produced the project for the very first time, alongside regular collaborators Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne.

“Your best yet – and that’s saying a lot,” McAnally commented on Pearce’s post.

So far, Pearce has shared three singles from the album: “We Don’t Fight Anymore” (featuring Chris Stapleton), “Country Music Made Me Do It,” and “Heels Over Head.”

“I am still a work in progress, but these songs represent my honesty, playfulness, and openness to keep growing,” Pearce shared per the album’s press release.

Moreover, alongside this announcement, Pearce unveiled the album’s title track, “Hummingbird,” now accessible on all streaming platforms. The visually stunning music video mirrors Pearce’s love for traditional country music and offers a glimpse into her upcoming album’s creative direction.

Pearce shared that the song is the most “unapologetically ‘Carly’ song I’ve ever written.”
