After making a miraculous recovery in the final rounds of the Stanley Cup, the Nashville Predators made a miraculous recovery, defeating the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 and putting “Smashville” back in the running for the ultimate prize.
Notorious for her public displays of affection for husband Mike Fisher and his team, Carrie Underwood threw an impromptu dance party following the Predators massive win. Luckily for us, the country music superstar documented the party in her box suite, sharing it later to her social media accounts.
“Aaaaaannnnnndddsd PREDS WIN!!!” wrote Underwood alongside her adorable video.
During the intermission of last night’s game, the country singer met up for a quick interview to discuss how she feels watching her husband (the Predators’ captain) playing such a violence-packed sport. Underwood explains that since Fisher can more than “handle himself” in a fight, she’s okay with it.
The Predators defeated the Penguins 4-1, tying up the series 2-2 going into Game 5 of the playoffs. The teams will meet back up in Pittsburgh this Thursday (June 8), returning back to Nashville for Game 6 on Sunday (June 11).
