This stunning power couple just got some of the best news they could ask for and it’s bound to have them jumping for joy!
While Carrie Underwood is steadily churning out legendary performances on her Storyteller Tour, her hubby, Mike Fisher, is back home in Nashville with the rest of Music City’s NHL team, The Nashville Predators.
He’s been doing a great job with the team and even was honored during a special milestone celebration for playing in 1000 NHL games during his nearly two-decade long career!
Well, the Predators love him so much, that they are naming him as their full-time captain!
According to The Tennessean, a source inside the team revealed that Fisher was replacing Shea Weber who was recently traded to the Montreal Canadiens.
This will be Fisher’s sixth complete season in Nashville, and he’s already been placed as an alternate captain for four of those. This will be his first time as a captain in the NHL!
