In March 2019, Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, got their first horse. They named him Bojangles, and both Carrie and Mike took to social media to share their excitement about being new horse owners.
Carrie posted an Instagram slideshow to introduce Bojangles to the world. Mike appeared in all three pictures, and was seen wearing a black cowboy hat.
“Every cowboy needs a horse…and a hat. I’m still working with him on the Southern accent,” Carrie said of her Canadian-born husband.

Now, over a year after bringing Bojangles home, Mike is continuing to embrace his inner cowboy…this time while on a getaway with Carrie in Wyoming!
Carrie took to her Instagram Story to share a video of her and Mike donning some Western attire on their Wyoming retreat. The clip opens with Mike placing a black cowboy hat on his head to complete his outfit, which included a pair of blue jeans, a set of brown boots, a blue plaid shirt, and a pair of dark sunglasses.
Then the clip cuts to show Carrie, who styled her hair in pigtail braids and donned a gray plaid shirt. She tucked the shirt into her jeans to highlight her brown belt, which matched her boots perfectly.
Later in her Instagram Story, Carrie shared a photo of her and Mike on horseback, captioning it “Me and my cowboy…” along with a red heart emoji.
Carrie seems to like how Mike looks when he dresses in Western attire, and we have to agree with her. He always looks handsome, but the cowboy look suits him quite well!
In addition to dressing like a country boy every now and then, Mike has also tried singing country music.
Back in 2019, he released a video of himself singing a parody of Lonestar‘s “Amazed,” which he created for his hunting apparel line Catchin’ Deers. Check out that hilarious clip below!
