It looks like the Fisher family is growing by one!
As they patiently wait for the arrival of their second son together, Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher revealed that they have expanded their family. Already parents to three-year-old son Isaiah and dogs Penny and Ace, the couple of almost nine years took to social media to introduce their fans to the “newest member of (their) family.”
Around Christmas time, Fisher, a retired NHL player, shared a family photo and included their cute pups Penny and Ace.

Soon, their family photos will include another baby! In the photo, you can see Underwood’s ever-growing baby bump. While they have never said when her actual due date is, fans have been waiting on the edge of their seats for the announcement of the baby’s birth, seeing as she is set to start her massive Cry Pretty 360 Tour on May 1!
Underwood announced her tour, as well as her pregnancy, in a video posted to all of her social media sites on August 8, 2018.
After revealing her tour start date, she said, “You might be wondering ‘Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?’”
“Wellllll….YAY!” she squealed as the camera panned back and showed big balloon letters that spelled ‘BABY’. “Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond! This has just been a dream come true with the album and baby news and all that stuff!”
“We are just so excited and so glad that you guys can share in this with us and be a part of this with us. Love you guys, we will see you guys on the road in 2019!”

Fisher posted an adorable photo of their newest family member on Saturday (Jan.19), but it wasn’t of a cute baby boy like we had hoped. Instead, their newest addition turned out to have four legs and a tail! Yep – they got a puppy!
“Meet the newest member of our family!” he captioned his photo of the cutest German Shepherd puppy we’ve ever seen. “Isaiah affectionately named him Zero. I guess it fits because it’s the chance of surviving if you try to break into our home.”

We love that Carrie and Mike let Isaiah help name their new dog! We wonder if they’ll let him name his baby brother. Time will tell!
