Imagine having one of country music’s biggest stars sing you to sleep. That’s a luxury that Carrie Underwood’s two sons has, although they’re too young to understand the magnitude of such a treat. But, one thing is certain…Underwood’s youngest son, Jacob, knows the voice of an Entertainer of the Year when he hears it.
In a video posted to social media, Carrie Underwood not only revealed the adorable face of her lookalike son, but showed that baby Jacob most definitely prefers Carrie’s voice over his daddy’s. The video shows a fussy Jacob laying on a bed with his dad, Mike Fisher, leaning over him singing Vince Gill’s hit song “I Still Believe In You.” Jacob cries until Carrie begins to sing the familiar tune. Jacob turns towards his mom’s voice and immediately stops crying.
Mike starts to sing again, only to trigger Jacob’s tears once more. But, as soon as Carrie takes over singing, Jacob quiets down. The baby’s reaction to hearing his parents sing humored his famous mom and dad, and received quite a reaction from fans online.
To be fair, he would probably cry if he had to watch Carrie try and play hockey on skates too.
