Season 29 of The Voice will debut in the spring of 2026. It will feature previous coaches John Legend, Adam Levine, and Kelly Clarkson. That’s right, there are only three coaches!

Season 29 will have an entirely different format. Called “The Battle of Champions,” the season will feature “fast-paced, competitive elements,” according to a report from Deadline.

The show will introduce a “Triple Turn Competition,” during which the coaches will compete to see who can earn the highest number of three-chair turns. The coach who wins will receive a “Super Steal” to use during the battles.

During the knockouts, each coach will bring back two standout performers from their past teams to face off in an “In-Season All-Star Competition.” Whoever earns the most wins during the knockotus will earn a second finalist spot in the finale.

Additionally, voting will be a little different during Season 29. It will involve a new voting block comprised of past Voice contestants and the show’s super fans.

CeeLo Green, one of the original coaches on The Voice, will return to the show to declare the winner of the season. Learn more about Season 29 in the video below.
