The Gaines family can officially add one more place setting to the table!
In January of this year, Chip and Joanna Gaines, who rose to fame thanks to their HGTV show Fixer Upper, announced that they were expecting their fifth child.
“Gaines party of 7,” he captioned a photo of his wife’s baby bump – along with his own. “If you’re still confused.. WE ARE PREGNANT.”

Chip and Joanna are already parents to Drake (13), Ella Rose (11), Duke (9), and Emmie Kay (8) – and have a tradition of using “D” names for the boys and “E” names for the girls. Two months after their pregnancy announcement, a special young boy helped Chip spill the beans on what gender their baby would be – a boy!

The married couple, who just recently celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary, never revealed their due date, but Joanna was recently treated to a Book Shower for her newest addition, leading us to believe the baby could arrive at any moment!
Well, folks – that moment is now!
In a simple tweet, the proud dad confirmed the arrival of Baby Gaines #5 early on Saturday (June 23).
“And then there were 5,” he wrote. “The Gaines crew is now 1 stronger! 10 beautiful toes and 10 beautiful fingers all accounted for, and big momma is doing great!”
