Megan Moroney entertained the CMA Awards crowd with a rowdy performance of “6 Months Later.”
“6 Months Later” was released in June as the lead single from Moroney’s third studio album, Cloud 9. Just days before she performed the tune at the CMAs, it became the singer’s third Country Airplay Top 10 hit. The song’s success was preceded by her debut single, “Tennessee Orange,” the second single from her 2023 debut album, and “Am I Okay?” the title track from her second studio album.

Moroney took the stage at the CMAs, performing on a slumber party-inspired set with plenty of pink, a fact the singer teased ahead of the performance. Dressed in a floor length pink robe and surrounded by other pink-adorned slumber party guests. She shed her robe after the first verse and chorus to reveal a sequin covered outfit, fitting the vibe of the performance.
