Currently, there is only one fan-voted awards show for the country music genre – the CMT Music Awards. It’s a different format than the Academy/Association voting of the ACM and CMA Awards. Some would say the fan-voted awards mean a little more, depending on who you ask!
The nominations for the April 2nd awards show – hosted by Kane Brown and Kelsea Ballerini – were released in early March.

Lady A – “Summer State of Mind”
Little Big Town – “Hell Yeah”
Parmalee – “Take My Name”
The War and Treaty – “That’s How Love Is Made”
Zac Brown Band – “Out in the Middle”
The winner of Group/ Duo Video of the Year went to Zac Brown Band for “Out in the Middle.” This award is well-deserved for this veteran band! Congrats to everyone nominated!
