Laura Bell Bundy is a woman of many talents. The singer and actress first found her claim to fame on the theater stage as the character Amber Von Tussle in the Broadway production of Hairspray. She further secured her Broadway fame when she starred as the original Elle Woods in the Legally Blonde musical.
In addition to performing on Broadway, Bundy is also a country music singer. Her 2010 album Achin’ and Shakin’ included the hit single “Giddy On Up,” which peaked at the 31st spot on the country chart and managed to snag the seventh spot on the Bubbling Under 100 Singles chart.
Now, Bundy can add one more title to her impressive resume…newlywed!
People was the first to break the news that Bundy had married her longtime love Thom Hinkle, who is an executive at TBS. The two dated for four years before Bundy announced their engagement on New Year’s Eve in 2015.
“The way we’ve come out of differences & challenges as better more fully realized versions of ourselves has only deepened our love & connection…” she wrote in the announcement. “And allows me to believe we have what it takes to grow young together. It allows me to believe in love in general. THAT’s when you know if love is true.”

The couple wed on Saturday (June 3) during a country-themed ceremony at the Santa Anita Park horse racetrack in Arcadia, California. Bundy wore a custom-made Sherri Hill wedding gown with a stunning lace detail.
“I knew I wanted a dress that was more sexy and slinky than ‘Cinderella goofy’ or big,” Bundy told People. “The dress is elegant with some beading detail and also has a simplicity to it which I wanted.”
