After welcoming their first child in early May, this Texas country music singer had the best idea for how to propose to his longtime girlfriend – and it worked!
Leader of the Josh Abbott Band, Josh Abbott, and his longtime girlfriend Taylor Parnell welcomed their daughter, Emery Farryn, into the world on May 5th – and were absolutely smitten. Apparently little Emery wasn’t the only thing Josh was smitten with and he crafted one really creative way to propose to Parnell…all with the help of little Emery.
Dressing up Emery in a special onesie, Abbott had it custom embroidered with the phrase “Mommy, will you marry Daddy?” on it.
Once his beloved girlfriend spotted this little outfit and the ring in his hand, she clearly said “Yes!”
Sharing some special candid photos with his fans on social media, Abbott let everyone know that Parnell had said yes and showed off little Emery’s outfit along with a cute photo of the couple celebrating their engagement.
