Ventriloquist Darci Lynne, known for her appearance on America’s Got Talent, is kicking off her music journey with the release of her debut single, “Push Our Luck.”
In 2017, Darci Lynne made history by becoming the youngest winner of America’s Got Talent (AGT). She dazzled the audience with her singing ventriloquist skills, featuring entertaining characters such as her well-known Petunia Rabbit. Notably, her audition performance received a Golden Buzzer from Judge Mel B, sending her straight to the Live Shows.
During her Season 12 journey on America’s Got Talent and in subsequent appearances, Lynne accumulated an impressive achievement of over 67 million views on the AGT YouTube channel. Additionally, she made history by receiving the highest number of votes for a final performance in the show’s history.
Her debut single “Push Our Luck” marks a new chapter in Lynne’s career.
Now, at the age of 19, it’s evident that Lynne has grown up since her early days on AGT. The Oklahoma City native is now channeling her passion for music, set to release her first song, “Push Our Luck,” on February 5th.

“I’m just over the moon about debuting as a singer-songwriter and couldn’t be more thrilled for people to hear ‘Push Our Luck,’” said Lynne in a statement. “I wrote this song about those first-time feelings when you’re out on a date. I think most of us have stayed out after curfew because we were having so much fun, so I really hope when people listen to this song they’re brought back to a moment, a person, or a time where they pushed their luck.”

During her time on AGT, Lynne captivated the judges and millions of viewers with her remarkable vocals and cover performances. In December 2023, she further showcased her talent by releasing a video on YouTube featuring one of her original songs, “My Thing.”
Following her AGT victory, Lynne embarked on a successful national tour in 2018, performing to sold-out audiences. Her achievements extended to performing at the Grand Ole Opry and opening for Fergie at Caesar’s Palace on New Year’s Eve. The pinnacle of her experiences came with the extraordinary chance to headline her own Christmas Special on NBC, where she had the honor of sharing the stage with the legendary Toby Keith.

Lynne surprises judges and introduces a new side of her talent.
In addition to her music endeavors, Lynne has recently joined America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League, a spin-off of AGT where judges compete to assemble the best lineup of acts. Darci Lynne surprised the judges by unveiling something entirely new for the show.
During rehearsals, she hinted at wanting to showcase a different side of her talent, introducing what she referred to as “Darci 2.0.” Expressing concern about being confined to a specific perception, she aimed to break free from any limitations and reveal to viewers that she possesses more than just ventriloquy in her repertoire.
Ahead of her debut on the new show on Monday (Jan. 22), Lynne treated her audience to a delightful and humorous video on her TikTok page to announce the exciting news.
