They say “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.” If that’s the case, Keith Urban should be feeling pretty good right now.
Franz Lippert, performing on The Voice of Germany, (yes, that’s right…Germany!) may or may not be fluent in English, but he sure has Keith Urban’s hit, But For The Grace Of God nailed down.
Lippert says he was one of the lucky 150 contestants chosen from 25,000 participants chosen to perform on the hugely popular talent show. Though the thoroughly German judges didn’t immediately recognize the song, we think Franz did Country Music proud!
None of the judges turned around, but he certainly turned our heads.
