Just days before his 64th birthday, Donny Osmond was injured while performing.
Donny was cast the Wizard of Pantomime in a five-week run of Pantoland at the London Palladium. Opening day was Saturday (December 4) and Donny was injured during the evening performance.
As Donny’s team said in a statement on social media, he suffered a “slight injury” on stage. They did not say which body part he injured, or how he sustained the injury.
Because of his injury, Donny was forced to drop out of all of Sunday’s (December 5) shows.
Despite this, Donny hoped he’d be able to return to the stage in a matter of days. “He’s being evaluated by a doctor and hopes to return to the stage on Tuesday,” read the statement from Donny’s team.
