During the whole Brian Laundrie/Gabby Petitio obsession, there was also a story that emerged that captured the nation’s attention: the murders of married couple Crystal Turner and Kylen Schulte.

Some folks thought the two crimes could be connected, seeing as Kylen and Crystal’s bodies were found on August 18 in Moab, Utah, a location that Gabby Petito and Brain Laundrie got into a fight, which led to Gabby being detained by police on August 12. The married couple were last seen just five days before their bodies were found.

In January 2022, the Grand County Sheriff’s Office released a statement revealing Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie had nothing to do with the murder of Schulte and Turner.

In a new Instagram post, Dog the Bounty Hunter revealed that Kylen Schulte’s father invited him and his team to help with the investigation into the murders, which still remain unsolved.

He wrote, “You may recall that Brian Laundrie and Gabby Petito were in Moab around the time of the murders but no definite link between the two cases has yet been substantiated. We are asking anyone with information to text or call us at 833-TELL-DOG.”
