The Duck Dynasty cast has seen pretty much everything when it comes to hunting. They’ve built their entire empire on their duck hunting company, Duck Commander and its other companies include Buck Commander, Strut Commander, and Fin Commander.
Not only do they run these companies, they obviously partake in everything hunting has to offer, which often begins with being out and bout in the dark hours of the day. Recently, on the podcast Unashamed with Phil & Jase Robertson, Jase revealed something crazy he stumbled upon recently while out on a hunt.
In the middle of the night, Jase said his friend called him and told him to “watch out for that body in the middle of the road.” Always a prankster, Jase thought his buddy was trying to pull a fast one on him. Turns out, it wasn’t a prank.
A few minutes later, Jase saw something in the road. Jase and his friend pulled over and called 9-1-1, even though they figured the body was too far gone for first responders to do anything.
But then Jase noticed that the man was wearing pajama pants and had dirty feet. He thought maybe this man had been walking a long time. Jase yelled at him, and all of a sudden, the body moved! Jase said the man raised his hand, then put it behind his back as though he was preparing to be handcuffed.
“That made me think he’s probably been up to no good,” Jase told his dad and brother, Alan. “Okay we either have drunkenness, drugs, or mental problems, but I don’t know what we had here.”
Jase’s friend Jay was still on the line with 9-1-1 explaining everything live to them. This man was in the middle of the road and could have been hit by another car, but thanks to Jase and his friend, he was actually saved.
They could have easily kept going, but they made a point to stop and try to help this man, even though they initially thought he was beyond help. See Jase explain the full story below.
