She has a platinum single, and now her hair matches!
Shawna Thompson, one-half of country duo Thompson Square, is known for her heavenly vocals and for her jet-black hair. She and her husband, Keifer, have been performing as the band Thompson Square for over a decade and just recently welcomed their first child into the world.
Fans are used to seeing the country crooner with dark hair, similar to in the photo below.

On Wednesday, she posted a video to the group’s social media channels before she went to her hairstylist.
“Hello friends,” she said in the Instagram video. “We’re here today where I’m about to go do something really crazy. Stay tuned!”
A few hours later, she debuted her new hairstyle and got quite the reaction from her fans. She dyed her hair platinum blonde and cut it really short.
“When you said you were gonna do something crazy – you weren’t kidding!!!” one fan wrote.
“Woah!!! That is crazy! And looks amazing on you,” said another.
Another fan said, “You’re a rock star, Shawna!!! Love your new look!!!” while one commenter said, “We need more pics!!! So cute!”
