Honestly, this story is so wild many people have a hard time believing it – but it’s so crazy, nobody could possibly make this stuff up.

Authorities responding to the situation at a small-town truck stop were in for a shock when they learned that a woman had been “attacked” by a camel that the truck stop kept at its petting zoo…and then that she “had to bite its testicles” to escape.

The Tiger Truck Stop sits about 16 miles outside of Baton Rouge and has the camel on site as a way to draw in customers…but it’s clear that Caspar the Camel was not interested in one couple that came to visit.

The 600-pound camel, who is housed outside in a large, covered pen, became agitated and panicked when a woman broke into his pen by crawling under the barbed wire.

This woman had gone in there to get her dog out, who had wandered in there after her husband threw several dog treats into Caspar’s pen.

Once inside the pen, the camel turned on the intruder and sat on her. The 68-year-old woman then felt like she had no choice – so she bit the camel’s testicles!

“She said, ‘I bit his balls to get him off of me, I bit his testicles to get him off of me,’” Iberville Parish Deputy Louis Hamilton Jr. told The Orlando Sentinel.

Biting his testicles apparently worked, because the Deputy then says that the woman was transported to the hospital for evaluation. No injuries have been reported.

The Deputy cited both the woman and her husband for a leash law violation.
