Allen was just axed from Dancing With The Stars on Monday (Nov. 8) in a double elimination, despite receiving consistent high praise and scores from the judges.

The now-dancer stopped by the CMA Awards at Bridgestone Arena to perform his current single that is burning up the country charts, “Freedom Was A Highway.” The duet featuring Brad Paisley was first released on February 1, 2021. The music video was released on July 29, and can be seen below.

Donning a sparkly denim-style shirt, Allen performed his duet as a solo and even showed off some of newly-learned dance moves! Earlier in the night, Allen won the CMA Award for New Artist of the Year and he just proved why!

Watch Allen’s performance below.
