Footage Of Mountain Lion Attacking Colorado Deputy Released

Fox 31 KDVR News

On Wednesday (March 11), a male citizen and a female deputy in Larimer County, Colorado were attacked by the mountain lion – and footage of the attack was just released.

Deputies from the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office and game wardens from Colorado Parks and Wildlife responded to a report that someone was attacked by a mountain lion.

The mountain lion was tracked to a trailer park, where it attacked a deputy. The footage released shows part of the mountain lion’s attack on the female deputy.

Shots were fired at the animal, but to no avail. The animal then traveled to a home near Highway 34. There, a game warden shot and killed the mountain lion.

Both the deputy and the citizen who were attacked were taken to a local hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

We are praying for their full and quick recovery. Watch the clip of the attack on the deputy below.
