The daughter of former Formula 1 CEO Bernie Ecclestone says she is “angry and shaken” after being robbed of more than $60 million in jewelry right before Christmas.

The heiress to the Ecclestone fortune, Tamara Ecclestone, came home from being on holiday to discover that her London-area home had been burglarized while she was away.

According to a CNN World report, The Metropolitan Police released a statement about the crime detailing how it was discovered.

“At this time we are investigating this as an isolated burglary and we are retaining an open mind around other lines of inquiry. Police were called by security within the building to three males who had been present inside the property and a fast-paced investigation is underway to locate the suspects and missing items.”

Ecclestone, who is a famous socialite, model, and personality released a statement through her spokesperson, saying that she was “angry and shaken.”

“I can sadly confirm there has been a home invasion. Internal security are cooperating with police in this matter. Tamara and family are well but obviously angry and shaken by the incident.”

The Ecclestone’s £70 million mansion has been reported as being robbed of most of its priciest (and portable) items in less than an hour. The heist is believed to have happened just hours after the heiress and her family left the country.
