Is Garth Brooks Making A Comeback?

It’s been a few years since country music star Garth Brooks has been out on the road! He most recently played his “Stadium Tour,” which concluded with its final show in the fall of 2022.

Brooks also performed for his Garth Brooks/Plus ONE Las Vegas Residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in May 2023. After an almost two-year run, Brooks announced the end of the residency in October 2024.

“I can’t believe it has come and gone already,” Brooks said in a statement at the time. “The Caesars gig has been my favorite so far. No setlist, no rules, just the music, and the listener come first. I LOVE that! These last shows are going to be hard for me, emotionally, because I can’t stand the thought of this residency being over.”

Earlier that year, he also announced that he would be ending his popular weekly series, Inside Studio G. The show, which became a staple for Brooks’ fans, began in 2016 on his Facebook page and SiriusXM before moving to his website and The Garth Channel on TuneIn.

While no reason was given for ending the sessions, the timing of everything coming to an end left fans speculating if something big was on the horizon.

Garth Brooks Hints At 2026 Plans

Based on his latest website announcement, it seems Brooks very likely has something in store for fans this year!

An image placed big and bold in the middle of his website states “2026 – New Year, New Music, New Tour,” reminding fans that while “some artists make resolutions” Brooks “makes moves.”

“I’m an artist, I HAVE to make music,” Brooks quoted on his site. “And I’m an entertainer, so I HAVE to take the music to the people.”

He then went on to share some upcoming show dates, including Milwaukee’s Summerfest on June 16 and 17, and a performance at Hyde Park in London on Saturday June 27.

Brooks took the teasing even further, saying:

“My bride is touring through the first half of the year. Then we will see what may be waiting for us in the second half. With new music, new dates, and endless possibilities ahead, 2026 is already warming up — and nothing’s off the table.”

We’ll be anxiously waiting to see what Mr. Brooks has planned!
