When live concerts came to a screeching halt earlier this year, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood quickly pivoted to an online format.
They performed a Facebook Live concert and took requests from fans. The session did so well, getting 5.2 million viewers, that they got a TV special! Called Garth and Trisha Live!, the special aired on April 1. The Facebook concert crashed because so many people tuned in, so this special was guaranteed to air the entire show completely.

During that special, Garth and Trisha took fan requests once again, even performing Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush,” which the band said had their phones “blowing up.”

A song the married couple performed during their first Facebook Live was “Shallow” from the film A Star Is Born. Their version of the Academy Award-winning song – which wasn’t even sung in its entirety – was so well-received that they decided to record it together!
In an interview with People TV, Brooks spilled the beans, saying it will be included on his upcoming album, Fun.
His album doesn’t have a release date yet, but in the meantime, watch their “Shallow” duet below.
