After rocking fans with news of the release of his forthcoming box set, Strait Out of the Box: Part 2, George Strait jolted fans once again with news he’ll be making his return to a Texas stage for one special reason.
On Nov. 16 the country singer will arrive at an unknown Texas dancehall for his album’s official release show. While the concert is a private show, the entire event will be available to the public eye via livestream beginning at 7PM central time on Strait.WranglerNetwork.com.
The King of Country is set to release his three-disc box set the following Friday, Nov. 18. The box set is compiled of 56-tracks of his biggest hits as well as two completely news songs, “Kicked Outta Country” and “You Gotta Go Through Hell.”
“Going back through all the songs for this box set does bring back a lot of old memories,” said Strait. “A lot of them we considered for radio singles and for whatever reason, we just picked something else. It was not that hard to pick them after I looked through them because there are just so many that are my favorites.”
