Gwen Freaks Out After Blake Joins Her On Stage: “That’s My Husband!”

On Friday, October 22, Gwen Stefani resumed her Las Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood after almost two years off due to the coronavirus pandemic. Her Just A Girl residency first began on June 27, 2018 and she played 50 shows before the coronavirus shut everything down in early 2020.

Prior to her October 22nd show, Stefani’s new husband Blake Shelton tweeted his excitement even though he was unable to attend, as he was performing at the 25th Anniversary of the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

“My girl is bringing her residency back to Vegas tonight! Go kick some ass, @gwenstefani!!!!” he wrote.

Fans may have been disappointed not to see the new Mr, Stefani at her first date back in Vegas, but as we learned, thanks to some dedicated fans, he was present at her Saturday night (Oct. 23) show.

During her set, she changed into her cowgirl costume and told her fans, “I love you guys but i hate to tell you this, I love someone else even more than I love you. And his name is .. BLAKE SHELTON!”

After announcing his name twice, Shelton finally emerged from backstage and the audience went nuts!

They proceeded to perform their number one song “Nobody But You,” looking lovingly in each other’s eyes the entire time. After the awesome duet, Gwen raved, “Blake Shelton! That’s my husband!”

Shelton in return yelled in his mic, “Gwen Stefani everybody…wait, Gwen Shelton!”

The two hugged and kissed before Shelton walked off stage. Stefani also grabbed his butt as he did so and he swatted her hand away and said, “Harassment!” in his mic. Clearly, these two love being married!
