Country artist Jimmie Allen is currently competing on Season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. As country music’s sole representative this season, Allen has the entire country music community pulling for him to win!

The “Best Shot” singer has experienced immense growth during his time on the show. On Monday night (October 25) he earned a near-perfect score for a contemporary dance that left viewers and his professional partner in awe.

Allen and his partner, Emma Slater, danced to a cover of “Say Something” by violinist Daniel Jang. It was Halloween night, so their performance was inspired by the popular science fiction/horror film A Quiet Place.

Their stunning routine earned 38 points…just two points shy of a perfect score! Slater later took to social media to gush about Allen’s performance and the scores they earned.

I can’t believe you did that tonight @jimmieallen wow,” Slater wrote alongside some photos from the night. “I just can’t believe how special that was, thank you. You were incredible.”

Allen and Slater’s routine put them at the front of the pack. Only JoJo Siwa and Iman Shumpert earned higher scores than them. Amanda Kloots also earned a score of 38, so she tied with Allen.

At the end of the night, it was Kenya Moore who was eliminated, leaving Allen as one of only nine remaining contestants on the show. We can’t wait to watch his next dance!
