She then reveals her love for writing and that she prefers to hear others perform her songs rather than perform herself. After this reveal, the Reporter asked,
“Do you have a favorite cover of one of your songs?” To which she responded, “I have a very recent one that I was blown away by.”
Before we reveal who she believes covered her song “You’re Still The One” better than she has ever heard it, let’s put this in context: Twain’s song “You’re Still the One” has been covered by notable names like Kacey Musgraves, Harry Styles, Kelly Clarkson, Prince, and many others since its debut in 1997.

As the interview continued, she revealed the artist she was so impressed by, Teddy Swims, and stated,
“This is the best version I have ever heard, and it feels really good as the songwriter. I am just so proud! I just love it!”
The mutual respect between the two artists is evident. When sharing this cover, Swims wrote on his Facebook page:
“This one is for you mama! I love you”
