What We Know About The Season Finale

The Yellowstone finale must wrap up multiple storylines and answer massive fan questions.

Beginning with, what will happen to the Jaime and Beth feud?

In the previous episode, Jaime and Beth had a contentious phone call. During the call, Jaime told Beth that he knows all the family secrets. He warned her that if she ruins him, he would ruin her in return.

This is not new information; it’s evident that Jaime has secrets that could jeopardize the ranch. However, it does become clear that Beth’s only choices are to either leave Jaime alone or take him to the train station.

In the season finale teaser, Beth says to her father’s casket, “I will avenge you.” Her deep desire for retribution does not look good for Jaime.

The teaser for the Yellowstone finale also revealed John Dutton’s funeral. He is finally laid to rest in a bright red casket, surrounded by his family.

Most of the teaser is related to the funeral of John Dutton, with conversations about his burial and funeral being the majority of the released dialogue.

In the finale teaser, Kayce Dutton is seen crying, but the reason for his tears is unclear. Could it be due to his father’s funeral? Or is it related to the terrifying prophecy that he will someday have to choose between his wife and the ranch?

What will happen to the Ranch is the next big question.

The family plans to give away the land to save it. The last line of the previous episode is, “The only way to save this place is to give it away.”
