Luke Grimes Talks Final Season Of Yellowstone
In just 24 days, Season 5, Part 2 of Yellowstone will be released. Fans are excited to see what is in store for the rumored finale of the hit drama.
However, some are apprehensive about the significant changes to the show following the announcement that Kevin Costner will not be returning.
As the series’ patriarch and leading man, his departure has left fans wondering what will happen next.
In a recent interview, Luke Grimes discussed how the potential final episodes might evolve without Kevin Costner’s portrayal of John Dutton.

Season 5 Part 2 Changes
Yellowstone comes from the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan, who is also the showrunner for Landman and Tulsa King.
Sheridan’s writing has an epic quality reminiscent of The Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones. Each character embarks on a “quest” that intertwines to reveal a larger story. As a result, the Dutton siblings are rarely seen together in the same room.
Grimes revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that all changes in this rumored final season.
“You do get to see a lot more interaction between Kayce and Beth. That was really fun because Kelly and I had talked over the years about how we wish we’d had more stuff together because we’re never really in the same room, if you think about it. It was great working with Kelly and being around Beth’s energy a little bit.”
Without the patriarchal influence of John Dutton, it seems the siblings spend much more on-screen time together.
This is an exciting twist in the series, although surprising, rather rhythmic writing.
Luke Grimes Speaks Finale
When asked by EW how he felt about the ending of the show, Grimes said, “There’s definitely a sort of summer camp blues feeling. All my friends are going away, but I’ve made friends for life on this job. I’m glad we got to finish strong.”
The cast and crew often talk about the show as if it is their final season, which is the official narrative.
However, it remains unclear whether the show will be renewed for Season 6. Cast members like Cole Hauser have expressed their desire to continue the series. There are also rumors that show executives are in talks about a potential Season 6. Only time will tell.
