Taylor Sheridan’s New Series, Landman, Is An American Drama Scheduled To Be Released In November
Taylor Sheridan can not be stopped!
The creator of Yellowstone has been hard at work on a new season, set to be released on November 10th, just one week before the premiere of his latest series, Landman.
Landman is unrelated to Yellowstone and instead focuses on 21st-century oil tycoons. The official description for the TV show is:
“Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, Landman is a modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs. Based on the notable 11-part podcast Boomtown, the series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.”
The series was adapted from Christian Wallace’s top-rated podcast Boomtown and produced by Texas Monthly in partnership with Imperative Entertainment. It is set to air ten episodes in its first season, and there are already talks of a second season!

Landman’s Star-Studded Cast
Landman follows the Norris family as they traverse the dangerous and lucrative world of West Texas’s oil rig industry. The series will highlight the high-stakes world and the environmental impact that the industry has on the world today.
The series features a star-studded cast that includes Billy Bob Thornton, who plays Tommy Norris. Landman centers on Tommy Norris and his explosive job which is to keep the peace by whatever means necessary.
Ali Larter signed on to the series to play Norris’s Ex-wife and is joined by Michelle Randolph who portrays her daughter. You might recognize Ali Larter from Legally Blonde, Final Destination, or Obsessed.
An exciting addition to the West Texas world is Jon Hamm as Monty Miller, who is an oil executive and Norris’s boss. He is joined on screen by Demi Moore playing his wife Cami Miller.
Last but certainly not least is Michael Peña who plays Armando Medina, a veteran roughneck. Pictured Below.
