Season 17 of American Idol has had both the judges and the viewers swooning over the contestants. With a series of unique voices and personalities, the show has been far from average. As the competition begins to slim down, each artist’s fate lies in America’s hands. On last nights episode, the Top 10 was revealed with much anticipation.
Laci’s Journey
While there are several incredible artists who take the stage, there is one that has been sticking out above the rest…Laci Kaye Booth.

Since her first audition, Booth has been stealing hearts. The blonde beauty performed a breathtaking cover of Merle Haggard’s “Mama Tried,” literally leaving the judges in awe. As she advanced on to the next rounds of the competition, she has only brought more fire to the stage.
Last night (April 15th), the Top 10 contestants met their fate. As hearts were broken and dreams were paused, a lucky few got the answer they hoped for.

Top 10 Performance
Host, Ryan Seacrest, brought Booth out to the side stage to reveal if she would be advancing onto the next round. With no surprise, America had voted her into the Top 10 with flying colors. Her risky Blink-182 cover had won the hearts of viewers everywhere. Now, she was ready to get back to her roots.
Booth took the stage to sing Fleetwood Mac‘s “As Long As You Follow.” In a stunning ruffled-pink gown, the singer stole hearts with her unique sound. All three judges seemed pleased with her performance per usual, as Katy Perry is Booth’s “biggest fan.”
