TMZ was the first to report the news that Jansen passed away in New York City over the weekend. Law enforcement responded to a call to a home where they found Jansen deceased. His cause of death is currently unknown, but foul play is not suspected.
Jansen Panettiere landed his first onscreen role in Disney Channel’s Even Stevens. He later did voiceover work for animated shows and movies including Blues Clues and Ice Age: The Meltdown.
Jansen appeared alongside his sister in the Disney Channel original movie Tiger Cruise (2004) and the 2012 film The Forger.
Other film and television credits include roles in Racing Stripes, The Martial Arts Kid, The Walking Dead, The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry, Perfect Game and How High 2. He also appeared in the 2022 Christmas film Love and Love Not.
Jansen and his sister, Hayden, appear to have maintained a close relationship. Three weeks ago he shared a photo of Hayden giving him a haircut.
