Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, high schoolers have been forced to miss out on some of the biggest moments of their lives, including graduation and prom. Such was the case for Jason Aldean‘s 17-year-old daughter, Keeley, whose junior prom was supposed to take place on May 2.
Jason and his wife, Brittany, still wanted Keeley to have a special day. So they got together to surprise her with a mini prom at their beach house!
The pair started off by decorating with aqua and green balloons, giving Keeley’s prom a tropical feeling. They also ordered food from P.F. Chang’s to enjoy before they got their groove on.
Guests included Keeley’s sister Kendyl (Jason shares her and Keeley with his ex-wife, Jessica), half-brother Memphis, half-sister Navy, and of course, Brittany and Jason. In fact, Jason fulfilled the role of Keeley’s “date,” joking with Brittany that his daughter “lost out on that deal.”
Brittany posted a video of how they surprised Keeley with her at-home prom. They all gathered downstairs in the kitchen and waited for Keeley to follow them. She was so shocked when she saw how they went all-out so she could still celebrate her junior prom in some capacity.
“Oh my gosh, you did not!” Keeley said in complete surprise.
“Sorry you are missing your first prom,” Jason said as he hugged his daughter.
After enjoying their dinner, the family hit the dance floor. It’s clear to see that Keeley was having a blast with her siblings, dad, and stepmom.
