Rascal Flatts Fans Rejoice As The Group Announces New Dates For Their Life Is A Highway Tour
The members of Rascal Flatts aren’t ready to give up life on the highway yet!
After a multi-year hiatus, Rascal Flatts reunited in 2025 to embark on a new tour. Before preparing for the trek, band members Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus, and Joe Don Rooney revealed they hadn’t been together in five years.
Understandably, fans were thrilled when Rascal Flatts unveiled the dates for their Life Is a Highway Tour. The venture was named after the song “Life Is a Highway,” which Rascal Flatts famously covered in 2006 for the movie Cars.
The 2025 tour started on February 13 in Evansville, Indiana. The trek concluded on April 5 in Jacksonville, Florida. Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane served as the opening acts.

But the ride isn’t over! Fans rejoiced when Rascal Flatts shared the exciting news on Wednesday (August 13) that the Life Is a Highway Tour will continue into 2026.
Next year’s leg of the tour will kick off on January 15 in Raleigh, North Carolina. The band will be on the road throughout January and February, ending the tour in Buffalo, New York, on February 28.
Chris Lane and Lauren Alaina will reunite with the trio for next year’s performances. See a full list of dates in the video below.
Most show tickets go on sale Friday (August 15). Some tickets will not be available until August 22.
Rascal Flatts Released A New Album, Refueled Duets, On June 6
To accompany this year’s tour, Rascal Flatts released a new album on June 6. Titled Life Is a Highway: Refueled Duets, the project features nine re-recordings of the band’s biggest hits. These new recordings highlight some of the trio’s famous friends, including Carly Pearce, Kelly Clarkson, and Blake Shelton.
Refueled Duets contained one new song, “I Dare You,” featuring another well-known trio…the Jonas Brothers. The song debuted as the album’s lead single and peaked at #24 on the Country Airplay chart.
Listen to “I Dare You” in the video below. With Rascal Flatts continuing their tour next year, maybe we can expect another new album in 2026 as well?
