The Music City Is Set To Honor The Classic Singer With A Star

Luke Combs, The Fairfield Four, Colin Reed, and Bill Cody are all set for induction into the Music City Walk of Fame alongside Jimmy Buffett, whom they will induct posthumously.

The Music City Walk Of Fame

The Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau founded the Music City Walk of Fame in 2006. It is located in Walk of Fame Park, between the Country Music Hall of Fame and Bridgestone Arena. When a new honoree is selected, a large stainless steel and terrazzo star is embedded into the sidewalk.

On October 30th, 2024, Buffett will join the likes of Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, Alabama, and many more country greats with a star. This is a well-deserved honor for the “Come Monday” singer. He has 17 gold and platinum albums and over 30 studio albums that have reached the top 10 on the Billboard 200.

According to the Music City Walk Of Fame website, the induction is free and open to the public.

Luke Combs To Be Honored Alongside Legend Jimmy Buffett

According to The Tennessean, Deana Ivy, who is the President and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp, said this of Luke Combs:

“Luke’s stellar career, marked by chart-topping hits and a deep connection to his fans, has made him one of country music’s brightest stars and the perfect addition to this prestigious group of honorees”

Combs was surprised by the news of his induction into the Walk Of Fame on Saturday, October 12th. He was performing at the Luke Combs Bootleggers Bonfire Festival in Miramar Beach, Florida, when they showed the video and announced he would be induction. Watch the touching moment below.
