Bet this country singer was in the doghouse last night! During an appearance on the Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon challenged Blake Shelton to a game of “Name That Song,” and Shelton completely blanked when it came to identifying girlfriend Gwen Stefani‘s megahit, “Hollaback Girl.”
In one of the beginning rounds of the game, the country singer wrongly guessed the beat being played matched Willie Nelson‘s “On the Road Again.”
“It is too! This is bullcrap!” yelled a frustrated Shelton.
After the band resumed playing the song, Fallon accurately guessed the beat matched with Charlie Daniels‘ “The Devil Went Down To Georgia.”
After the next song began playing, Shelton and Fallon focused hard on trying to guess which song the beat belonged to, the talk show host completely losing it when he realized the song was Stefani’s 2004 smash hit single, “Hollaback Girl.”
“Oh my gosh, you’re in so much trouble dude,” said Fallon as he took a seat next to a defeated Shelton. “You’re in so much trouble I don’t even know what to tell ya.”
“I came to this show to promote my album and I’m losing everything, everything in my life!” yelled the country singer.
Even though he had a few minor missteps along the road, the country singer ended up overall winning the game.
