Fans of Josh Turner will be excited to learn that they can now hear him cover Keith Whitley’s song, “I’m No Stranger To The Rain.”
Whitley released the song back in 1988 on his album “Don’t Close Your Eyes.” It went on to win the Country Music Association Award for Single of the Year and ever since has been a country classic that is easily recognized in the genre.
Turner wrote on a Facebook post,
“I’m excited to share another new track today from my album ‘Country State of Mind.’ When it came time to decide on songs for this project, I had to include ‘I’m No Stranger To The Rain.’ It has such an incredible message of perseverance, endurance and determination. I thought it was a great way to lead off this album.”

Turner has loudly proclaimed that “I’m No Stranger To The Rain” is one of his all-time favorite country songs so naturally, he had to include it on his new album.
