On March 28, The Tennessean announced that the daytime talk show Pickler & Ben was being canceled after two seasons. Country star Faith Hill served as executive producer on the show, which was hosted by country singer Kellie Pickler and media personality Ben Aaron.

The Nashville-based program featured segments on cooking, decorating, country music, and Nashville attractions.

Although the show was beloved by its many fans, The Tennessean‘s report on its cancelation states the company that oversaw the show didn’t think it had “long-term profitability.”

A couple of weeks after the cancelation news broke, Pickler and Aaron addressed their fans through a video message. They said it would take a “miracle” and a lot of money to save the show. And by a lot of money, they meant $15 million.

Despite the bad news they were left to deal with, the pair remained hopeful that the show would be safe.

But the miracle and money the show’s hosts hoped for never arrived. At the time of the cancelation news, it was announced that the show would continue to air until September.

Then, on September 6, Pickler and Aaron shared a “goodbye” message with fans from the show’s final episode. Pickler & Ben actually finished filming new episodes in May, but repeats aired until September 6.

In the message, the emotional hosts addressed the studio audience and viewers at home, thanking them for all of their support over the past two years.

We’re so grateful you’ve been part of this incredible adventure along with our entire ‘Pickler & Ben’ team,” Pickler said.

The pair concluded their message with Aaron saying, “Goodbye for now” and Pickler blowing the camera a kiss.

We’re sad to see Pickler & Ben go off the air. Hopefully the show will be able to come back some day, but in the meantime, we wish Pickler and Aaron the best.
