Lainey Wilson Celebrates the Grand Opening of Her New Bar, Bell Bottoms Up, On Tuesday, September 17.
Although Lainey Wilson’s new bar in Downtown Nashville officially opened in May, the country superstar recently made a special appearance for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the venue.
The establishment, located at 120 3rd Avenue South in Nashville’s South Broadway district, is a three-level bar spanning 27,000 square feet. It features two stages, four bars, and a mezzanine floor with a lounge bar overlooking the dining area. The bar has fun 70s western decor throughout, with a Cajun-inspired menu catering to her Louisiana roots.
After cutting the ribbon to mark the grand opening, Wilson took the stage on the bar’s rooftop for a surprise performance featuring several of her songs, including tracks from her brand-new album Whirlwind, such as “4X4XU” and “Hang Tight Honey.”
“I’ve had a dream of opening my own bar on Broadway for years and last night we got to celebrate making that dream a reality,” Wilson said in a statement. “I’ve always said that if I ever had my own place, it would be called Bell Bottoms Up and I would bring a bit of Louisiana to Nashville. Thank you to the incredible team that helped make this little girl from Baskin’s dreams come true and for everyone who came out to celebrate with us last night. Come on by, grab a drink and a bite of some Louisiana cookin’.”
As reported by the Davidson County Source, the event also featured a sneak peek of Lainey Wilson’s upcoming collaboration with the denim brand Wrangler. Select signature pieces from the collection, which is set to launch on September 25, were displayed at the venue. Additionally, the guest list for the bars opening night included fellow country music stars, industry professionals, Nashville city officials, and DJs.
